Smoke-Free Ottawa (SFO) is a coalition made up of concerned citizens, public health officials, and non-profit organizations. Our primary commitment is to improve the health of those living in Ottawa County by educating community members about the serious health risks of tobacco and secondhand smoke. SFO's mission is to create a healthier community through tobacco-free living!

On Thursday, May 8 the Michigan Senate voted 25-12 to pass a statewide smoke-free indoor air bill for all worksites and public buildings in Michigan - including bars and restaurants. Once the House approves any changes and Governor Granholm adds her signature, Michigan will become the 34th state to provide smoke-free air to it's citizens!
